Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern access to and use of Surgical Bazaar, a multi-vendor marketplace for medical supplies, equipment and related products. By creating an account, listing an item or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Marketplace role and suppliers
Products are offered by independent vendors identified on their storefronts and individual order records. Each vendor is responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, condition, safe handling and lawful sale of its listings, and for fulfilling its assigned order. Surgical Bazaar provides marketplace, payment coordination and customer-support technology. Specific mandatory legal obligations of the platform or vendors are not excluded.
2. Accounts and permitted use
Provide accurate information, keep login details confidential and promptly report suspicious activity. Accounts are role-specific. Use of a vendor account is conditional on approval and any applicable licences, registrations and compliance checks. We may restrict fraudulent, illegal or unsafe activity, with review through support.
3. Medical product requirements
Vendors must not list products that they are prohibited from supplying, falsely describe sterility, claim unsupported treatment benefits or offer controlled or prescription-only items without applicable authorisation. Buyers must verify a product is appropriate for their intended use and comply with all relevant laws and professional requirements. Listings are not medical advice.
4. Listings, prices and orders
Displayed prices are in Nigerian naira unless otherwise stated. A combined customer checkout may generate separate vendor orders and parcels. Availability and pricing are checked when an order is submitted. An order remains unpaid until payment has been independently verified. Any shipping, taxes or other charges are displayed or quoted where applicable before collection or separately agreed.
5. Payments and financial settlement
Enabled payment methods may include Paystack, Flutterwave and bank transfer. We do not ask customers to send payment to personal accounts through unsolicited messages. Payment confirmations depend on gateway verification or reconciliation of bank transfer proofs. Vendor payouts are subject to legitimate verification, disputes, refunds and settlement controls.
6. Fulfilment, returns and disputes
Deliveries, returns and refunds are handled under the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy alongside applicable consumer-protection rights. Contact support promptly about missing, damaged, wrong or misdescribed goods. Vendor-reported delivery does not alone establish independent proof of receipt.
7. Platform availability and limitations
We work to maintain an accessible platform but occasional maintenance and third-party failures can occur. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory consumer rights, privacy rights or liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
8. Intellectual property and content
Platform branding and software remain owned by their respective rights holders. Vendors warrant that uploaded listings and images may lawfully be displayed. We may remove content reported as unlawful or infringing.
